AI Decision-Making

Decide better amid noise and uncertainty.

Why Decision Power Is the Core Capability of the AI Age

AI can hand you a hundred answers. But which question to ask, which answer to trust, and which consequence to carry: that is human work.

When the cost of generating content approaches zero, the value of judgment approaches infinity.

What I Bring

Minerva University is often called the most innovative university in the world. It does not teach you to memorize knowledge. It teaches a transferable set of thinking frameworks: how to analyze complexity, how to evaluate trade-offs, and how to make a defensible decision when the information is incomplete.

In 2024 I earned Minerva's Master's in Decision Analysis (MDA), one of fewer than ten people in Taiwan to hold the degree. In 2026 I was selected for the inaugural East Asia cohort of Minerva University's World Wise Executive Leadership Development Program.

My work is bringing these frameworks into the Chinese-speaking world.

This Is Not Theory

I am the superintendent of an international school. Every day I make real, high-stakes decisions across multiple campuses: budgets, personnel, students, parents, regulation.

Every framework I teach is one I use myself, daily.

The Three Layers of Decision Power

Ask the Right Question

Most bad decisions are not wrong answers. They are wrong questions. This is especially true in the age of AI: ask badly and it will answer badly, with total confidence.

Discern What Is Real

When generated content is nearly free, telling what deserves belief stops being a refinement and becomes a survival skill.

Carry the Consequence

No framework carries it for you. The last mile of any decision is the power to stay whole.

These three layers are the durable skills Ask, Discern, Be, and the foundation of Resilience Engineering.
